History
The Carle School of Irish Dance originated in Binghamton, NY, as the McGuire School of Irish Dancing. The McGuire School was originally under the direction of Hillary McGuire and then under the direction of Bernadette Burke and Jo-Ann Carle. The dance school is a family run business that has been around for over 20 years and is currently under the direction of Siobhan Carle-Roma TCRG.
Philosophy
At the Carle School, we pride ourselves on providing the finest instruction of traditional Irish Step Dancing, maintaining the strong ethnic roots in which the dance originated. Our dance school offers a more competitive atmosphere with dancers competing at local feiseanna as well as regional and national championships. We do also offer numerous classes for those that just love to dance. All of our dancers have the opportunity to showcase their dances at various dance events all year long. So, young or old, come join us in learning the skill of traditional Irish Dancing.
